SUMMARY OF Water Cleaning System

Belt conveyor is used in iron mill where they carry iron ore and power plant where they carry coal to move iron ore, coal and etc. from a place to another place. Belt conveyor which carries such iron ore, coal and etc. should be cleaned periodically as foreign substances like scraps adhere to the surface of belt conveyor. In general, Water Cleaning System is a system which removes rigid type scraps adhered to belt conveyor using scraper then cleans remaining scraps and foreign substances off belt conveyor using cleaning water.

EFFECT OF Water Cleaning System
  • 1. Tension deviceControls belt tension by adjusting the height of Top Roller.
  • 2. Top RollerPresses down belt to be contacted with Bottom Roller horizontally.
  • 3. Bottom Roller Its rubber coating removes water well and water and dust are removed at the part which contacts belt.
  • 4. First CP CleanerRemoves dust and foreign substances on the surface of belt
  • 5. Second CleanerRemoves micro dust and water which were not removed by the first cleaner.
  • 6. Auto Valve It supplies cleaning water only when belt conveyor operates and stops supplying cleaning water when belt conveyor stops operation.
  • 7. Sewer Collects and discharges cleaning water which contains dust and drain pipe is set with slope so that dust does not build up.
  • 8. Heating plate It is located on the slope of the bottom of sewer and prevents cleaning water which flows on the slope from freezing and building up.
  • 9. Scraper Pushes foreign substances fell in sewer into the chute to clean belt conveyor.
  • 10. Auto control box Controls all devices.
